It comes … the capital »ß«
The german lower case letter »ß« now has a uppercase pendant, formally noted as ISO-10646 and 1E9E in Unicode 5.1. I think this makes no sense because everybody will keep writing »SS« instead of using the new letter. This is again a proof for how narrow-minded Germans can be.
I don’t get the whole idea of this thing. It’s like saying “Well, a lot of us make this mistake and write the ß also in capital letters, so we should develop a capital version of it.” Come on, stupids!
